Tracking pixels and cookie consent

Add Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel to your storefront. Tags wait for the visitor's cookie consent.

Where to set the IDs

  • Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID, G-XXXXXXXXXX) and Meta Pixel (15–20 digits): Panel → Analytics → Tracking Pixels (owners and admins). Save with the bar at the bottom of the tab.
  • TikTok Pixel (16–24 uppercase letters and digits): there is no field for it on that tab yet. Ask Panel AI, for example "Set my TikTok Pixel ID to C4ABCDEFGH1234567890". Ask it to clear the ID to remove the tag.

An ID in the wrong format is not saved. An empty ID removes that tag from the storefront.

Every storefront shows a cookie banner where the visitor chooses analytics and marketing cookies. Until they agree:

  • Google Analytics 4 runs in Google Consent Mode v2 with analytics and ad storage set to denied. When the visitor accepts, the tag is switched to granted.
  • Meta Pixel loads nothing from Meta. The pixel loads and counts the page view only after the visitor accepts marketing cookies. If they withdraw consent later, the Meta cookies (_fbp, _fbc) are deleted.
  • TikTok Pixel holds consent and is granted only after the visitor accepts marketing cookies.

Pages opened through a private link (for example a booking details link or a sign-in link) load no tracking tag at all.
