Printing

Overview

Store settings → Printing (/en/settings/printing) sets up automatic order printing. A station is a place that prints, such as the kitchen or the counter. Each station has its own paper, printer type and print rules, and one or more paired devices that do the printing.

Add a station

1. Click Add station and give it a name.
2. Choose the paper width (58 mm, 80 mm or A4), the printer type (receipt printer ESC/POS, Star printer StarPRNT, or a regular printer through the system print) and, for receipt printers, the Turkish character set.
3. Choose Print when: a new order arrives, and/or when an order reaches a status (confirmed, being prepared, ready, shipped, delivered, completed, cancelled, refunded). Each status prints at most once per order and station.
4. Choose the receipt type (customer receipt with prices, or kitchen ticket without prices), the number of copies (1–5), whether part of the customer's phone number is hidden, and an optional footer text.

Your plan includes a set number of stations; the page shows how many you use. Switch a station off to stop it printing without deleting it.

Pair a device

Click Pair a device on a station, optionally choose the device (computer with the OIC Print Chrome extension, Android app, or iPhone / iPad app) and a name, then Create pairing code. Scan the QR code with the device or open the link on it; in the extension you can also paste the code. The code works once and for 10 minutes.

• A station can have up to 10 devices. Remove a device to stop it printing at once.
• Each device shows whether it is online, when it was last seen and its last printer error.
• iPhone and iPad print only while the OrderInChat app is open on the station screen.

Reprint and test

• Reprint last order sends the station's most recent receipt to the printer again (the station must be on).
• To print a test page, use Test print in the OIC Print extension or the app on the paired device.

Who can use it

Only the store owner or an admin.
